Freda Bell Ellis

Freda Bell Ellis, 93, of Harrogate, TN, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2020 at the Middlesboro ARH in Middlesboro, KY. She was born on August 20, 1927 in Jenson, KY. She was a Christian from an early age, attended Old Straight Creek Trinity Tabernacle and had been a homemaker. Freda was preceded in death by her parents, Maggie McNight Woolum and Willie Woolum; her husband, William Ellis; her son, Kenneth Ellis; 2 infant sons; her sisters, Goldie Miles, Jean Philpot, Beatrice Duncan, and Gloria Woods; her brothers, Herman Woolum and Denver Woolum; her son-in-law, Bill Mosley; her grand-daughter, Candis Hill; and her grandson Don's wife, Tammy Ellis. She is survived by her daughters, Rosemary Mosley and her husband, Charles, and Wilma Mosley; her son, Garland Ellis and his wife, Mary; her sister, Clotene Asher; her brother, Gary Woolum; her daughter-in-law, Darlene Ellis; her grandchildren, Pam Vanhuss and her husband, Eddie, Renee Keith and her husband, Gary, Freddie Ellis and his wife, Kristen, Don Ellis, Melonie Huddleston and her husband, Tim, Becky Gregory and her husband, Randy, Charles Mosley and his wife, Theresa, Janice Gordan and her husband, David, Maggie Mosley, David Mosley, Billy Mosley, Kenny Mosley and his wife, Nickie, Whitney Ellis, and Kenny Ellis; 16 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be on Sunday, September 27, 2020, at 3:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Chapel with Rev. Charles Mosley, Rev. Bobby Grubbs, and Rev. Mark Mahurin presiding. Burial will follow at the Jenson Cemetery in Jenson, KY. Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Ellis Family.
