Fred Ira Dunn, 65 of Pineville, KY, passed away unexpectedly on June 2, 2026, at Fourmile, KY.

Left to miss him forever, his wife of 42 years, Mary Ann Dun; children, Pricilla Dunn and Justin Dunn; and grandson, Christian Blake Dunn.

Those gone before are son, Fred Ira Dunn, Jr.; mom, Hester Dunn; dad, Johnny Ira Dunn; in-laws, Salvene and Georgia Mae Dell; brothers, James Noah Dunn, John Owen Dunn, and Ray Honeycutt; and sisters, Louise Rhodes, Patricia Faye Alford, and Kitty Sue Baker.

Also left to miss him forever are brother, Rev. Bill Dunn (Mary); sisters, Frances Sharp (Roger) and Sandra Brudza (Richard); and a host of cousins, nieces, and friends, as well as his sister-in-law, Ann and her family from Baltimore.

Fred loved his family and God, he’s home at last. He loved estate sales and good old fashion trading. He loved to ginseng. He enjoyed fishing with his grandson. Fred loved fixing up his family’s home and took great pride in making it a warm and loving place for them all.

Fred worked at Denim Finishers which he helped rebuild the plant in Middlesboro, he worked at the Marriott Hotel in Indianapolis, and Krogers too.

He enjoyed his time with his friends at Flat Lick yardsaling.

But most of all he loved God, his family, and his home.

Graveside services will be at 5:00 PM on Friday, June 5, 2026, at the Dunn-Brock Cemetery on Laurel Hill with Rev. Jeff Baker and Rev. Jason Roop presiding. Music will be provided by Jason and Amanda Roop. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
