Franklin Garrison

Franklin Garrison, 86 of Pineville, passed away on Monday, October 25, 2021 at the Middlesboro Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Middlesboro. He was born in Clairfield, Tennessee on September 30, 1935, a son of the late Garrett and Harriett Ann Green Garrison. Franklin loved to fish, hunt, garden, be with his church family and the Kentucky Wildcats. He was a believer in the Baptist Faith and a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church. Franklin had a been a Machinist for the Mosler Safe Company. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Jean Bingham Garrison; son, Danny Garrison; and siblings, Ethel Taylor, Vernia Henderson, Georgia Earl, Thelma Middleton, Betty Garrison, and Ralph Garrison. Franklin is survived by his son, Garrett Garrison; grandchildren, Leann Kelly and husband, Jimmy, and Adam Garrison; great-grandchildren, Hunter Kelly, Seth Garrison, and Marcus Garrison; siblings, Jim Garrison, Everett Garrison, Linda Shultz, and Lola Napier; special niece, Kathy Garrison; special nephew, Chester Howard; daughter-in-law, Becky Garrison; and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at the Hickory Flat Cemetery in Dorton Branch with Rev. Jeff Tingle presiding.
