Frank Smith

Franklin D. 'Frank' Smith, 76, of Stoney Fork, passed away on July 9, 2017 at his home. He was born on Straight Creek, KY on February 10, 1941 a son of the late Delbert and Mary Frances Sinkhorn Smith. He believed in the Baptist Faith and had worked as a landscaper. Frank loved to read his favorite book, the Bible and had read it through four times, he knew the Bible very well. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents who helped raise him, Brownie and Susie Sinkhorn; a sister, Billie Jo Bolinger and a brother-in-law, Wayne Hensley. Survivors include his wife of almost 42 years, Ora Pearl Hollin Smith; daughters, Ashley Saylor and husband, Darrell , Adrian Smith; grandchildren, Parker, Aiden, Braylon and Addilee; sisters and brother, Mary Sue Hensley, Jack Smith and wife, Peggy, Linda Love and US Asher; special friends, Billy Wayne Cinnamon and Darryl Bailey, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be at 8:00 PM Tuesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeremy Sanders. Following Frank's request, following the services he will be cremated at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 until 8 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Smith family.
