Francis Marion Nix

Mr. Francis Marion Nix, age 84, of New Tazewell, passed away February 14, 2006 at Laurel Manor Health Care. Born in White County, Georgia, March 14, 1921 the son of the late Andrew and Zona Cox Mix. Mr. Nix was a self employed Carpenter and a United States Army Veteran of World War II. He was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Nina Moon and a brother, Kara Nix.

Funeral services 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 17th, 2006 at Hillside Memorial Chapel in Clarkesville, GA. Burial in the Glade Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation was Thursday 6-8 at Hillside Memorial Chapel. Local arrangements by Reece Funeral Home and Valley Chapel 869 3651 or 626 4249.
