Francis Elmer Gilbert

Francis Elmer "Buck" Gilbert, age 57, of Tazewell, Tn. passed away on April 21, 2013. He was born in Hancock County Tennessee on May 24, 1955 to George Marshall Gilbert and Nettie Lawson Gilbert.

He is preceded in death by his father and his brother: Roger Gilbert.

He is survived by his mother: Nettie Gilbert, three sisters: June (H) Short, Doddy (Jerry) Parker, and Pat Parker. Three brothers: Bob (Adrienne) Gilbert, Cardy Gilbert, and Steve (Bobbie Jo) Gilbert.

He is leaving a host of nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.

Rev. Troy Taylor will officiate the services. Gladys and Homer Collins will sing.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Reece Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Wednesday April 24, 2013 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Reece Funeral Home and Valley Chapel.

Funeral Services will be Thursday April 25, 2013 at 2:00pm at Reece Funeral Home and Valley Chapel.

Burial will follow in the Van Huss Grove Cemetery in Rose Hill, Virginia.
