Frances Lefevers

Frances Helton Lefevers, 91, of Stoney Fork, KY passed away Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Tri-State Nursing Home in Harrogate, TN. She was born November 5, 1925, a daughter of the late Jack and Bessie Lawson Helton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Farmer Lefevers, four brothers, William Helton (an infant), Farmer Helton, Forester Helton and Bennett Helton; an infant sister, Gwendolyn Helton and a granddaughter, Amy Jo Harris. Survivors include her sisters, Tishie Asher of Pineville and Evelyn Rice of Bardstown; brother, Gervous Helton of Ventura, CA. Frances was the mother of three daughters, Janice Lefevers of Greenwood, IN, Linda Lefevers (Steve Clark) of Corryton, TN and Deborah Lefevers (Doug Walters) of Versailles, KY; three grandchildren, Leigh Ann Rader, Jamie Frances Akers and Jody Darrell Akers; seven great-grandchildren, Conner and Katelyn Rader, Jessica and William Smith, Madison, Jordan and Alexis Akers; one great-great-grandson, Kade Akers Hammond. A very heart-felt thank you is extended to grandson, Jody Akers' Fiance, Shannon Flynn, for the loving support she provided to this beloved mother and grandmother in a time of great need. France's family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Tri-State and the Hospice workers, whose efforts to provide care and comfort are much appreciated. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday at 1:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home Chapel with an eulogy by Frances' long-time friend, Harve Couch of Stoney Fork and Rev. Ron Suntken.
