Frances Jean Girdner Jones, 66, Ingram, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2016 at her home surrounded by family and friends. She was born in Pineville on April 4, 1950 a daughter of the late John Frank and Rosie Tabor Girdner. Jean was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and had been a homemaker, mother and nanny. She was loved by all that met her and her favorite past-time was playing Bingo. Survivors include her husband, Jewel Jones; daughters and their husbands, Jennifer Joe and Jack Parsons; Tina Kaye and Teddy Fuson; a niece, Rosie Jean Girdner, whom she raised as her own and a special great-niece and nephew, Austin Manning and Alyssa Edmondson, grandchildren, Kaylyn Nicole Parsons, Kara McKenzie Parson, Brittany Lauren Baker and Hunter Len Fuson; great-grandchildren, Eli Baker, Cooper Baker and Amilia Strunk, , brothers and sisters, Charles Girdner, Frankie Duncan, Herman Girdner and Michael Girdner and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at the Ebenezer Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Wayne Goodin and Rev. Clint Goodin. Burial will be in the Tadd Goodin Cemetery at Ingram. Pallbearers will be Jack Parson, Teddy Fuson, Caleb Strunk, Kevin Baker, Jerry Girdner, Charles Girdner, Kelly Jones and James Greene. The family will receive friends from 6 until 9 PM Friday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Jones Family.
