Flossie Cox, 87, of Pineville, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at the Middlesboro Appalachian Regional Hospital. She was born in Manchester, KY on January 4, 1929, a daughter of the late Shirley and Ollie Smith Hubbard. She believed in the Baptist Faith and had been a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Pearl Cox, Sr.; son, Shirley Cox; brothers and sisters, Edward Hubbard, Coyd Hubbard, Vernia Rutledge, Amos Hubbard and Noah Hubbard. Survivors include her children, Eddie and Debra Jackson, Lula and Johnny Sinkhorn, Joe Cox, Pearl Cox, Jr., Ollie and Johnny Daugherty; Step-children, Lige Cox, Alice Fay Burns and Pearlie Jean Harris; grandchildren, Chris Collett, Ellen Marie Pullen, Pearl Cox, Brandon Cox, Sean Cox, Joshua Daugherty and Mark Daugherty and a host of great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters, Warren Hubbard, WealthyThompson, Lornia Lunsford and Mona Kerr and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be at 1:00 PM Saturday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ron Howard and Rev. Jeff Tingle. Music will be by Eugene Enix. Burial will be in the Jenson Cemetery at Pineville, with family and friends serving as pallbearers . The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12 until the funeral hour at Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Family of Flossie Cox.
