Florence Mays

Florence Louise Ferguson Mays, 79 of Pineville, KY went home to be with the Lord on December 10, 2013 at her residence. She was born on March 18, 1937 of the late Waneta Cloud Fergerson and Theodore Fergerson. Florence was a Born-Again Christian and a faithful member of Bethel Baptist. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe L. Mays, siblings; David Ferguson and Joanna Zachery, nephew, Wendell A. Zachery. Survivors include her children; Walter 'Pee Wee' Mays and Kellie Rae Mays of Pineville, KY; Grandchildren; Breoyanna Teran of Barbourville, KY; Alex Turner of Pineville, KY and Candace Zachery of Middlesboro, KY; Great-Grandchildren; Skyler Jones of Flat Lick, KY; Malachi Gregory of Knoxville, TN; Nephews; Michael and Dewayne Zachery, Niece: Christine Fergerson, Uncle Walter and Alice Cloud and Aunt Rose Mary Cloud; Sister-in-laws; Beartice Simpson and Mary Washington and a host of great nephews, nieces and friends. Special friends include Trudy Wallace, Jim and Mildred Winter and Fannie Chapman.
