Faye Maria North

Faye Maria Gilbert North, 81 of Davisburg, passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023, at the UK Medical Center in Lexington. She was born on June 21, 1942, to the late Floyd Gilbert and Rose Adkins. Faye had been a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Melinda Kahlor, who raised her. She is also preceded in death by her son-in-law, Lonnie Sharpe; stepfather, Ed Adkins; and her ex-husband, Lowell North.

She was very loving and very strong, and she raised all four of kids on her own. She loved and cherished all thirteen of her grandchildren, her great-grandchildren, and her great-great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all of us.

Faye is survived by her children, Lisa Sharpe, Tom North (Angie), Robert North, and Theresa Miller(Jarve); grandchildren, Lonnie Earl Sharpe, Amanda Green (Kyle), Christopher Sharpe (Ashley), David Miller (Traci), Joshua Miller, Michael Miller (Tamara), Eric North, Rose North, Matthew North, Timothy North, Luke North (Emily), Ryan North (Courtney), and Logan North; great-grandchildren, Hannah Marlow (Curt), Chloe Sharpe, Makayla Greene (Trevor), Kyle Greene, Jr., Isabella Greene, Joshua Miller, Mason Sharpe, one on the way, Brylee Miller, Alexia Miller, Makenzi Miller, Jonah Miller, Aaralyn Miller and Kyler Miller; great-great-grandchildren, Aubree Marlow and Paisley Ayers; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 4:00 PM on Thursday, August 3, 2023, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens in Middlesboro. Pallbearers will be Jarve Miller, Joshua Miller, Kyler Miller, Jonah Jones, Tom North, and Tim Good.
