Farmer Lawson, 63 of Pineville and Middlesboro, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023, at the Barbourville ARH in Barbourville, Kentucky. He was born in Pineville on January 20, 1959, a son of the late Curt Lawson, Sr. and Pauline Patterson Lawson. Farmer believed in the Baptist Faith. He worked in the coal mines for 20 plus years until an injury caused his retirement.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his youngest son, Timothy Dewayne Lawson; his wife and mother of his two sons, Brenda Kay Elliott Lawson; brothers, Curtis Lawson, Jr., Clayton Lawson, and John Henry Lawson; and sister, Charlotte Lawson Upton.
Farmer is survived by his love and companion, Angie Lawson; son Farmer Douglas Lawson and Gana Hatfield; special daughter, India Mason and husband, Steven; grandchildren, Charity Cheyenne Lawson, Timothy Douglas Lawson, Aeriana Grace Lawson, Anslee Grace Lawson, Addison Grace Ervin; Nicole Mason, McKenzie Mason, Steven Mason, Charles Mason, and Lyndia Mason; great grandchild, Zayden Northern; sisters, Carol Lawson Rice and husband, Dewey, Cheryl Lawson Jackson and husband, Steve, Linda Lawson Lane and husband, William; special friends, Dewayne Hatfield, Mike Nash, and Wesley Thomas; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 20, 2023, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Wagner presiding. Burial will follow at the Jenson Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
