Fannie Rice Sizemore, 101, of Arjay, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at the Pineville Community Hospital. She was born in Simms Fork on February 7, 1908 a daughter of the late Ance and Emily Napier Rice. She believed in the Holiness faith and had been a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Jackson Sizemore, a son, Grant Sizemore, sisters and brothers, Bessie Simpson, Alice Mills, Lucy Baker Wine, Bertha Henderson, Robert Rice, Earl Rice and Dan Rice. Survivors include her children and their spouses, Elsie Hoskins of Arjay, Arnold and Loretta Sizemore of Houston, TX, Charles and Lola Sizemore of New Tazewell, Arvil and JoAnn Sizemore of Vicksburg, MS, James and Catherine Sizemore of Arjay, Elmer and Glenda Sizemore of Arjay, Velma and Robert Johnson of Vicksburg, MS, Geraldine and Dyane Wright of Louisville, KY and Thelma and Kenneth Maggard of Atlanta, GA, thirty-five grandchildren, fifty-five great-grandchildren, fifty great-great-grandchildren and four great-great-great-grandchildren, brother, Virgil Rice of Mesa, AR and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
