Fannie Smith Chatman

Fannie Chatman, 97, of Pineville, passed away on November 13, 2014 at Mountain View Nursing Home. She was born in 1917 in Camden, AL and moved to Pineville in 1943. She was a believer in the Baptist Faith and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church for many years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Chatman. Survivors include her niece, Shirley Rhodman, great-niece, Trell Rhodman; great-nephew, Andre Rhodman and a host of special friends and church members. Services will be at 2:00 PM Sunday at the Bethel Baptist Church, Pineville, with Rev. Robert Cornett and special guest speakers, Rev. Thomas Simmons and Rev. Charles Tinsley. Special singing will be provided by Tammy Rogers, Deb Renfro and Mrs. Simpson. Burial will be in East Barbourville Cemetery, Barbourville. The family requests donations to assist with funeral expenses. The family will receive friend on Sunday from 1:00 PM until the funeral time at the Bethel Baptist Church.
