Evelyn R. Price

Evelyn Price age 93 of Speedwell, TN was born December 27, 1924 and went to be with the Lord on April 7, 2018.  She was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church and a member of the Shawanee Eastern Star Lodge.

She was preceded in death by her beloved Husband of 42 years; J.B. Price, Sisters; Cleo Price Hayes of Greenville, TN and Irene Patterson of Speedwell, TN. Her Brother; Eugene Evans of Speedwell, TN, Grandson; Charles Jay “Tiny” Gent of Speedwell, TN, Special Sister-in-Law; Nola Price Smith of Speedwell, TN.

She is survived by her Daughter; Nola Ann Gent of Speedwell, TN, Special Niece and Nephew who she loved like her children; Janis Faye Ratliff of Sandy, UT and Ronald W. Smith of Speedwell, TN, Sisters and Brother-in-Law; Betty and Henry Coffey of Morristown, TN, Pauline Moyers, Grandson; Brian Gent and Wife Donna; Granddaughter; Teresa Gent Jones and Husband Chase Jones of Middlesboro, KY.  Great Grandchildren; Kristen Elaine Richey of Knoxville, TN, Samantha Nicole Keck of Sharps Chapel, TN, Leah and Hannah Jones of Pineville, KY, and a great host of family and friends.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 11, 2018 from 5:30 PM until 8PM with Eastern Star and funeral services to follow at 8PM in the Reece Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Steven Branscomb officiating.  Eulogy will be provided by Mitchell Ferguson.

Family and friends will meet at Reece Funeral Home and Valley Chapel on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 1PM to go in procession to Piney Grove-Hill Cemetery for 2PM graveside services.
