Evelyn Powell

Evelyn Powell, age 89 of Cumberland Gap was born May 13, 1927 to the late Campbell & Dora Beeler Leach and passed away April 10, 2017. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by husband- Ben Powell, sons- Marion Dennis Powell & Ricky Powell, brothers- James, Conley and Billy Leach, sisters- Pearlie Leach & Louetta Sutton. Evelyn was of the Jehovah Witness faith.

Survivors include: Great nieces- Rayleana Edwards, Misty Sutton, Mokina Sutton, great nephew- Christopher Sutton and a host of family and friends.

The family will recieve friends from 1-3 PM, Thursday April 13 at Reece Funeral Home & Valley Chapel to be followed by services at 3 with Brother Cecil Gross officiating. Graveside to follow at the Hooper Cemetery with BrotherMarshall Gilliam officiating. Pallbearers: Chris Sutton, Tommy Combs Jr., Tommy Combs Sr., Jamie Edwards, Tyler Mayes, Wesley McCall, Honorary Pallbearer- Marshall Gilliam.
