Evelyn Sue Arnett

Mrs. Evelyn Sue Arnett, age 86 of Harrogate, TN was born August 8, 1937 and passed away peacefully Monday, April 1, 2024 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was a member of East Cumberland Baptist Church. Evelyn was an avid artist and her artwork is displayed throughout the tri-state region. She also loved to sew and make stuffed animals that she would then give to children in the community.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Charlie and Heita (Ausmus) Howerton, daughter; Melinda Arnett and her brother; Tommy Howerton.

She is survived by her loving husband; Marvin Arnett, children; Rhonda Arnett, Marvin Arnett, II and wife Judy. She is also survived by many other friends and church family.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 6PM until 7PM with a Celebration of Life at 7PM in the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel with Rev. Bill Daniels officiating.
