Ethel Taylor

Ethel Taylor, 82 of Pineville, passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at the Pineville Community Health Center in Pineville. She was born in Cary, Kentucky on June 13, 1939, a daughter of the late Wilse and Rosie Hensley Taylor. Ethel had owned and operated Dollie and Ethel’s Restaurant for many years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Matt Orville Taylor; sisters and brothers, Thurman Taylor and wife, Dollie, Sherman Taylor, Herman Taylor and wife, Willie Jean, Truman Taylor and wife, Alice, Howard Taylor and wife, Ruth, Della Laws and husband, Charlie, Senia Smith and husband, Frank, Mary Watts and husband, Lee and Dollie Grubb and husband, Ray. Ethel is survived by her brother, Roscoe Taylor and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Graveside service will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at the Farley Cemetery in Himyar. Pallbearers will be her nephews. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, then will proceed to the cemetery for the service.
