Esby Dwain Davis

Esby Dwain Davis, 51 of Lexington, passed away on Wednesday, December 01, 2021, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. He was born in Lexington on May 28, 1970 a son of Archie Hall Davis Saylor and the late, Esby “Bunny” Davis. Esby had worked as a heavy equipment mechanic for many years. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his aunts, Joleen DeRossett and Wanda Houston; and uncles, Howard Hall, Jr. DeRossett, and Brown Simpson. Esby is survived by his mother, Archie Saylor; brother, Michael Scott Davis; nieces, Kaitlyn Davis and Brittany Davis; aunt, Iva Iola Simpson; uncles, Clarence Hall Harold Hall and Ed Houston; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Mitchell Tolle presiding. Music will be provided by Edwina Houston and Paula Ewing. Burial will follow at the Halls Cemetery in Hulen with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 9:00 AM until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Davis Family.
