Ernest Glen Harmon, age 63 of Oak Grove Alabama passed away August 28, 2009. He was of The Baptist faith and a Veteran of The Vietnam War. He was born May 26, 1946 to the late William Frank and Mae Turner Harmon. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by wife Thelma June Harmon, brothers Oscar Ray, Arnold Joseph, Doyle Gene, William Frank Jr., Charles Jack, and Leroy Harmon and infant sister Evaola.

Survivors include: Son: Marty Harmon and wife Tammy of Lafollette Daughters: Melissa Harmon Kimberly Malenia Sprouse and husband Travis both of Oak Grove, AL Brothers: George Wayne Harmon of Speedwell Paul Harmon of Lafollette Hoyle Dean Harmon of Speedwell Sisters: Loretta June Mabe, Helen Faye Hallaway Ruby Adeline Pierce Verda Mae Overton all of Speedwell. Grandchildren: Tommy Lee Givins, William Henry "Billy" Harmon and Karson Wade Sprouse.

The family will receive friends Monday August 31 at Reece Funeral Home & Valley Chapel from 5-8. A graveside service will be held at The Harmon family Cemetery Tuesday at 1 pm. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Rev. Steve Dunn officiating. Music by Jimmy T. Stevens. Military Honors by Tri-County Veterans Honor Guard.
