Ernest Ann Lefevers Broughton

Ernest Ann Lefevers Broughton, 76, of Pineville, passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2013 at the Middlesboro Appalachian Regional Hospital. She was born in Cardinal, KY on September 8, 1936 a daughter of the late Jasper Newt and Mable Withrow Lefevers. Ann was a member of the Pineville first United Methodist Church where she served as financial secretary. She had been a member of the Pineville Chapter #89 Order of Eastern Star for over 25 years and served as Worthy Matron and several other offices. Ann had been a member of the Business and Professional Woman's Club where she served as President of the local club and served in District and State Offices. She had served as Den Mother of Cub Scout Troop 535, Round Table Cub Scout Leader and on the Review Board of Boy Scouts. She had also served on the Pineville City Council. Ann had retired as Account Coordinator in the Pineville office for Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield after 46 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Slusher Broughton; brother, Ferman 'Nick' Lefevers; sister, Dorothy Gertrude Naulty; nieces, Kimberly Lefevers, Laura Naulty and Cindy Howard Brown. Survivors include her son, Floyd S. Broughton; grandson, Hunter Patrick Broughton; brother, Jasper Newt 'Bill' Lefevers, Kettle Island, KY; sister, Eva Bea Lefevers Hebron and husband, Floyd, Columbus, OH; Nieces, Jennie Apple, Ft. Worth, TX; Janene Lefevers Bohl and husband, Ed, Mt. Olivet, KY; Mindy Hebron Sarratt, Columbus, OH; Pat Naulty, Virginia Beach, VA; Maggie Naulty Jones, Atlanta, GA; nephews, Charles Howard, Chris Howard and Kevin Lefevers, Columbus, OH; great-nephews, Herb Apple, Ft.
