Erma is preceded in death by her husband: Claude E. Hodson, Father: Robert Welch, Mother: Mae Treece Welch, Niece: Judy Russell, Brother-in-law: Vonnie Russell.

She is survived by her brother: Pat Welch, Speedwell, TN. Sister: Edna Welch Russell, Speedwell, TN.

Nieces: Deborah Welch Caylor (Bobby) Seymour, TN; Sheila Welch Honeycutt (Steve) Tazewell, TN; Karen Welch Whiteaker (Roy Dell) Tazewell, TN.
