Erica Renee Morse- Shelton

Erica Renee Morse-Shelton, age 38, of Cumberland Gap, Tennessee, went home to be with the Lord, on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at the UT Medical Center, in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Erica was one of the most loving, caring, strong willed women. She was heavily devoted to her faith and was full of testimonies of God’s works in her life. Erica had many trials and tests with her health issues, but always trusted God and she was able to see thirty-eight years of her life. She will always be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, spouse and “EE” to so many. Erica always loved watching children, for many in the area, and had the pleasure of forming lifelong bonds with their families. She loved late night Taco Bell runs with a Mountain Dew, going on trips with family and her love, Andy and wanting everything that was the color pink.

Erica is preceded in death by her father, Richard Morse; maternal “mamaw”, Betty Wylie; and uncle, James Bolling.

Survivors include her mother, Kathy (Rick) Mills; husband, Andy Shelton; brother, Jacob (Lyndsey) Mills; special niece, Margot Mills; aunt, Pat Morse; uncle, Robert Morse; paternal grandmother, Barbara Morse; and a host of friends and family to mourn her passing.

Celebration of Life Services will be conducted at Summey’s Bridge Baptist Church on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 5:00 PM, with Rev. Mitchell Keck and Rev. Tim Day officiating.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM until the time of services.
