Emanuel Saylor

Emanuel Saylor, 81 of Kettle Island went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 11, 2011 at his home. He was born on February 14, 1930 at Beverly, Kentucky and was the son of the late Rev. A.D. and Luci Brock Saylor. Emanuel was a lifetime member of the Saylor Pentecostal Church at Saylor Hollow in Crockett, KY and had worked as a Coal Miner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Rosie Woods, Laura Brock and Phoebe McCart and brothers, Rev. Johnny Saylor, Rev. Lewis Saylor and Eugene Saylor. Left to mourn his passing are his wife of 64 years, Alice Hubbard Saylor; children and their spouses, Freda Taylor, Charlotte Smith, Jordan and Deloris Saylor, Emanuel, Jr. and Judy Saylor, Bobbie Lynn and Bill Mitchell, James and Deanna Saylor and Clifford and Jennifer Saylor; 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jordan Saylor of Somerset, KY, A.D., Jr. and Gladys Saylor of Fort Wayne, IN and Edward Saylor of Pontiac, MI; sisters, Viola Brummett of Fort Wayne, IN and Emma Brummett of Pineville, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
