Elsie Mae Green Miracle of Pineville age 95, died at the Pineville Community Health Center on Saturday, June 17, 2023. Elsie was born in Insull, Kentucky on November 3, 1927, to the late Clarence and Mary (Wilder) Green. She had retired from the Middlesboro Kmart.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Miracle; sisters, Vivian and June; brother, Clarence; daughters-in-law, Shelia Miracle and Celia Miracle; and stepfather, Sam Jones.
She contributed significant time and energy to the following, Pineville Senior Center, Pineville Senior Homemakers, Bell County Literacy Council, Sunday School Class at the Pineville United Methodist Church, First Christian Church of Pineville, and the Pump Springs Baptist Church Sunday School Class Adult II.
She is survived by her children, Patricia (Eddie) Bingham, Luther Allan (Ann) Miracle, and Eddy Miracle; grandchildren, Jeremy (Alicia) Brooks, Lauren (Casey) Wilson, Caitlin (Chris) New, and James Allan Miracle; great-grandchildren, Sheila MaryGrace, Aubrey Mae, Delilah Mae, Maeve Eleanor, Sydney Lenora, and Nathaniel Reed; sister, Betty Garland; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
The family will receive friends at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Wednesday, June 21, 2023. A Celebration of Life will follow at 7:00 PM.
A graveside service will be held at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens in Middlesboro at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 22, 2023.
