Eloise Putman Baker, 73, of Pineville, passed away on Monday, October 22, 2007 at her home. She was born in Pineville on October 22, 1934, the daughter of the late R.E.L. and Nell Partin Putnam. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pineville and had been a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael David Smith, sisters, Estelle Farmer and Jackie Martin. Survivors include her husband, W.S. Baker, Jr. of Pineville, step-children, Michael Baker and wife, Norma of Calvin, Terry Baker and wife, Janice of London and Mona Baker of North Carolina; step-grandchildren, Ashley and Jeff Landrum, Terry and Kendra Baker, Tiffany Baker, Stefanie Harris and Joseph and Ashley Harris, step-great-grandchildren, Bailey Landrum,. Kayle Baker, Haley Baker and Alexis Wise; brother-in-law, Lacy Martin, nieces and nephews, Linda and Irvin Kliethermes, Gary and Sue Martin, Chuck and Karen Martin, Cathy and Steve Lumsden and Lisa and Kent Sears; brothers and sisters-in-law, George Bake, Benny and Jean Houser, Marisha Stewart, Debbie Tweed-Baker, Ronald Baker and George and Dollie Baker, special friends, Bob Madon, Leo and Nelda Taylor and Wayne and Carolyn Bishop and a host of great-nieces and nephews.
