Elmer Mitchell Evans

Elmer “Mitchell” Evans, 65 of Middlesboro, passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at his home. He was born in Middlesboro on September 20, 1959, a son Donley and Deloris Marie Giles Evans. Mitchell proudly served his country in the United States National Guard and had worked at Dura-Line in Middlesboro. Mitchell is survived by his daughter, Amy “Niki” Griffin; grandchildren, Andrew Connor Griffin and Isaac Wayne Griffin; his two dogs whom he loved like his babies, Chester and Trooper; and a host of brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Private services were held at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Evans Family.
