Ellen Miller

Ellen Miller, 89, of Zion, IL, beloved wife of the late Rev. Charles E. Miller, died following a long illness on Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Roanfork, KY on April 14, 1918 and moved to Zion in 1963. She was an active member of Spirit of Life Pentecostal Church of Zion. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Charles E. Miller in 1991, her parents, Allen and Mary Carnes Grubbs, step-mother, Bessie Fry Grubbs, three brothers and a sister. Survivors include her children, Pastor Phyllis Miller of Beach Park and Charles (Doris) Miller, Jr. of Zion; grandchildren, Scott (Charlene) Miller of Beach Park, IL, Gregory Miller of Gurnee, IL, Tammy (Paul) Sharrett of Zion and Christine Brown of Beach Park; ten great-grandchildren, Ashley, Alexis and Chase Miller, Brandon and Gregory Miller, II, Justin and Falon Provance Miller and Adam, Charles and Nathan Sharrett; sisters, Florence Brown of Gurnee, IL, Mary Norvell of Zion, IL, Carla Gross of North Chicago, IL and Glenna (Joe) Miller of Kenosha, WI; brothers, Bill Grubbs of Waukegan, IL and Philbert (Virginia) Grubbs of Gurnee, IL and numerous nieces and nephews.
