Elizabeth McCreary, age 89, of Cumberland Gap, TN, passed away Sun., May 6, 2012 at Claiborne Co. Nursing Home, after a long illness. She was born Nov. 22, 1922, was a faithful member of Providence Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her parents - Johnny and Mary McCreary; sisters, Lorene, Cleo, Maurine and Ruth. Her love for everyone was demonstrated by her giving, helping, cooking for family and friends and she was definitely the best cake baker.

Survivors, brothers, John (& Ruth, her loving caregiver) McCreary, Harrogate, TN, Hobert (&Thelma) McCreary, Jacksboro, TN; sisters, Ann (& Roy) Burchfield, Asheville, NC, Jeanette(& Orlando) Sharp, Atlanta, GA, Loretta (& Charles)Johnson ,Nashville, TN, Martha (& Jack) Day, Southaven, Mississippi; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
