Elizabeth Helton

Elizabeth Saylor Helton, 94 of Stoney Fork passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2011 at Mountain View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Middle Fork, KY on September 6, 1917 and was the daughter of the late Jonathan and Delia Caldwell Saylor. Elizabeth was a believer in the Pentecostal-Holiness faith and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jonas Helton; daughter, Gertrude Helton; sons, Dennis, James and Delbert Helton; sisters, Martha Howard and Sarah Saylor; and brothers, Dillard, Emanuel, Elmer and Eli Saylor. Survivors include her children, Denver and Ada Mae Helton of Indianapolis, Carl and Louann Helton of Stoney Fork, Bobby Ray and Sarah Helton of Stoney Fork, Brenda Kay and John Hansen of Stoney Fork and Dewey Helton of Jenson; daughters-in-law, Lillie Helton of Indianapolis and Shirley Helton of Stoney Fork; 34 Grandchildren, 64 Great-Grandchildren, 45 Great-Great-Grandchildren; sisters, Tishie Belcher of Tacky Town, Noralee Mallicoat of Morristown, TN and Rosetta Lewis of Crab Orchard; brother, John H. Saylor of Crab Orchard and a host of many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
