Elizabeth Liford Goodin

Elizabeth Liford Goodin, 79, of Pineville, passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at the Pineville Community Hospital. She was born in Knox County on May 25, 1936, a daughter of the late Rev. Jim Robert and Minnie Allen Liford. She was a member of West Pineville Baptist Church and had worked at Pineville School Cafeteria and the Pineville Hospital Dietary Department. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, David Richard Goodin and Norman Blake Goodin; brothers, Robert Liford and Sam Liford; sisters, Mary Liford Robinson, Julia Liford Robinson and Marie ' Georgie' Liford Reagor . Survivors include her children, Betty Jane Goodin; Janet Maureen Goodin Wilder and Mark Twain Goodin; daughters-in-law, Brenda Simpson Goodin and Valerie Gregory Goodin; grandchildren, Jonathan David Wilder, Serena Wilder Gregory and husband, LLoyd, Tessa Goodin; Grant Allen Goodin, Joshua David Earl Goodin, Rebecca Mosley, Kimbery Mosley, Danielle Mosley and Josh Mosley; six great-grandchildren, brother, Jesse Liford and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be Tuesday at 7 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Chapel with Rev. Mike Brooks and Rev. Mickey Jones. Burial will be Wednesday at 11 AM at the Patterson-Mooneyham Cemetery in Knox County. Pallbearers will be Bruce Nunn, Bruce Nunn, Jr., John Nunn, Bob Wilson and Charles Mason. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5:00 PM until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Goodin Family.
