Eliza Roberts age 93 of Harrogate.

Eliza Martha Surber Roberts age 93 of Harrogate was born October 20th 1913 to the late Dr. Joseph & Nancy Ellison Surber. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Roy Jay Roberts, daughter Cuma Jo Vincent, two brothers and five sisters. Her life exemplified a life of selfless service to God, family, friends, and acquaintances. She faithfully served 30 years as a Sunday school teacher ministering to the spiritual needs of innumerable young people. She attended LMU and was a member of Pump Springs Baptist Church. Eliza will always be remembered for her happy laugh and warm smile.

Survivors include daughter, Rhonda L. Smith of Elkins, WV

8 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 7 great great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10am-12pm Tuesday at Reece Funeral Home & Valley Chapel. The funeral will follow at 1pm with Rev. Emory Minton Jr. officiating.

Music by Linda Langford. Burial in The Scott Cemetery. Pallbearers; Grandsons: Roy Smith, Bert Smith, Bret Vincent, Alex Vincent, Jay Vincent, & Shawn Vincent.
