Elige Elliott

Elige Elliott, 69, of Portage, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2009. Born In Stoney Fork, KY on July 25, 1939 to Edgar and Carrie Hoskins Elliott, he had resided in Indiana for the past 35 years. He was a retired carpenter for Local 81 Labor and Local 599 Carpenters Union, a member of the Sons of American Legion Post 260 and F & AM Dunes Lodge #741. He enjoyed woodcarving, fishing, cooking, mushroom hunting, gardening and spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include his loving wife, Carol Elliott, sons, Keith (Susan) Elliott, Paul (Gemma) Elliott; Debbie Marie (Richard ) Reason, Suzanne Elliott, Pam (Mark) Diaz and Shawn (Chris) Kribs; nine grandchildren and a great-grandchild; brothers and sisters, Paul (Brenda) Elliott, Archie Elliott, Dan (Ida) Elliott, Virgie Jones, Christine (Dave) Mooney, Wanda (Kermit) Creech and Joyce Elliott; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
