Elder Albert Owen Davis

Elder Albert Owen Davis age 98 of Speedwell passed away at his home Saturday Feb. 11.

Born Dec. 9 1907 to the late Aaron & Florence Roach Davis. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Primitive Baptist Church and a moderator of The Powell Valley Association for 38 years. In addition

to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Audra Lambert Davis. Infant son, Allen Roy; son, Ronnie; Six brothers, two sisters and one great-grandchild.

Survivors include:

Sons: Paul & Jean Davis of Speedwell, TN. Glen & Barbara Davis of Lafollette. Wayne Davis of Tazewell. Daughter: Faye & Bob Hensley of Speedwell.

Sisters: Winona Chapman of Jacksboro, TN. Ruby Miller of Lafollette.

Grandchildren: Glen A. Davis of Germany. Scott Davis of Lafollette. Robbie Davis of Lafollette.

Jerry Hensley of North Hampton, OH. Michael Hensley of Speedwell. Paula Mabelitini of

New Carisle, OH

Thirteen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces nephews family & friends.

Funeral services will be 2 pm Tuesday at The Pleasant Hill Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Larry Anderson & Elder Bill Rhymer officiating. Music by the Church singers. Burial in The Ausmus Cemetery. Visitation 6-8 pm Monday at Reece Funeral Home & Valley Chapel.
