Edward Jones

Edward Jones, 69, of Four Mile, passed away on Friday, September 8, 2017 at Baptist Health in Lexington. He was born in Four Mile on July 19, 1948 a son of the late Monroe and Jessie Webb Jones. Edward had been a coal miner and loved the outdoors. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Monroe Jones, Jr., Alvin Jones and Harold Jones. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Linda Honeycutt Jones; his children, a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Billy Ray Jones, Joe Albert Jones, Fred Ernest Jones, Shirley Lingar, Lucille Shelton and Carolyn Girdner and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5 until 7 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Private interment services will be at Green Hills Memorial Gardens.
