Edward J. Bauer, Sr. 53, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 8, 2016, in Beverly, KY. He was born on December 24, 1962 a son of the late Lynwood C. and Della L. Denny Bauer. Survivors include his children, Edward J. Bauer, Jr., his baby, Rebecca E. (Terry) Smith and Lynwood W (Cynthia) Bauer; brothers and sisters, Eric C. (Traci) Bauer, Denise (Lowell) Collett, Melisa (Wayne) Miracle and Megan (Barry) Baker; grandchildren, Sharron Brock, Alison Collett, Ethan Brock, Clem Rose, Michael Smith, Logan Smith, Kimber Bauer, Jayden Bauer, Callie Bauer, William Bauer and Arianna Bauer; special niece, Amber Collett, special friends, David (Snake) Nolan, Jay Wilson and Wayne Miracle and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Services will be at 2:00PM Sunday at Blue Ridge Baptist Church with Pastors Chuck Taylor and Herman Denny, Jr. Music will be by, Shannon Clonce, Judy and Bill Smith and Jeff Merida. Burial will be in the Bauer Cemetery at Williams Branch. Pallbearers will be Eric Bauer, Jr., Terry Smith, Lynwood W. Bauer, Manasseh Bauer, Lowell Collett, Moses Bauer, Lynwood C. Bauer and Ethan Brock. Honorary pallbearer will be Wayne Miracle. The family will receive friends after 5:00 PM Saturday at the Blue Ridge Baptist Church.
