Edith Hubbard Cornett, 91 formerly of Pineville, passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at her brothers home in Orem, Utah. She was born in McClure, Virginia on February 22, 1921 and was the daughter of the late Wilmer and Bessie Rasnake Hubbard. Edith was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pineville and attended the First Methodist Church of Pineville, and worked as a teacher in the Bell County School System for 34 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dutch Cornett, her daughter, Sherroid Cornett, and sisters, Doris Collett and Carrie Straley. Survivors include her brother, Claude Hubbard of Orem, Utah and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
