Eddie Lee Minton

Eddie Lee Minton, 59, of Harrogate, passed away on Monday, May 28, 2018 at the LaFollette Medical Center. He was born in Middlesboro on November 12, 1958 and was the son of the late Troy Lee and Vestina Laws Minton. Eddie owned and operated Minton Roofing Company for many years and enjoyed gardening and the outdoors.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister, Carolyn Jane Minton.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Lou Ann Houston Minton; sons, Eddie Lee Minton, Jr. and Troy Lee Minton and wife, Jamie; grandchildren, Colton Jase Minton, Dalton Wayne Minton, and Jasmine Lynn Minton; sister, Cindy Minton McGeorge; and a host of other relatives and many, many friends.

Funeral services will be at 8:00 PM on Friday, June 1, at the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel in Harrogate with Rev. Terry King. Family and friends are invited to meet at the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel at 12 Noon Saturday to follow in a funeral procession to the Sharp Cemetery for Graveside Funeral Services beginning at 1:00 PM. Honorary Pallbearers are Jack Epperson, Bill Epperson and Jay Epperson.
