Earl Knuckles

Earl Joseph Knuckles, 74, of Pineville passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at Fort Sanders Medical Center in Knoxville. He was born in Bird Branch on January 18, 1934 a son of the late James Farmer and Lillie Napier Knuckles. He had been the owner of Pinelawn Memorial Cemetery. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Millie Woolum, Walter Knuckles, J.T. Knuckles and Ed Knuckles. Survivors include his children, Brenda and Greg Ponchot of Indianapolis, IN, Brent and Karen Knuckles of Pierceton, IN, Kevin and Shelly Knuckles of Hillsborough, MO and Kimberly Starks of FL; thirteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Hazel Jones, Ray Knuckles, Bob Knuckles, Ellen Porter, Leonard Knuckles, Dorothy Spears and Claiborne Knuckles, care-giver, Litha Taylor and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
