Earl Helton passed away on Sunday June 29, 2008, at the Pineville Community Hospital. He was born April 7, 1927 in Leslie County KY, the son of the late Rachel Sizemore Helton and Daniel Helton. He served in the United States Navy during World War II and retired from National Starch and Chemical Company, he was a member at Shelby Street Light House Church in Greenwood IN, and Calvary Chapel at Mills Fork KY. He was a Master Mason at the lodge in Whiteland, IN where he had served as Past Master and He was a member of the Eastern Star. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Lawrence, Ernest, Grant, Denver, Rice, Corbert, James and Robert Helton, sisters Mollie Helton Asher and Phoney Helton Belcher. Survivors include his wife, of 61 years Elva Helton, sons, Raymond Helton of Stoney Fork, Lehman Helton, of Indianapolis and Donnie Helton of Whiteland IN; brothers, Fred Helton of Calvin, Daniel Helton of Martinsville IN and sister, Emily of Calvin. grandchildren, Michael of Whiteland IN, Stacy of Franklin IN, Kim of Whiteland IN, Earl Ray and Larry of Stoney Fork; great-grandchildren, Brayton, Luke, Drew and Hadley of Whiteland IN and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
