Earl Thomas Barnum

Earl T. Barnum, 79, of Calvin, KY, formerly of South Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville. He was born in Westminster/Walhalla, South Carolina on April 16, 1939 and was the son of the late Ray Barnum and Pauline Simmons Burnett. Earl worked with steel and was a Plant Supervisor in Industrial Manufacturing. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Deborah Ann Slusher Barnum; children, David Alexander Lemar, Sr, and Rebecca Lynn Richardson; grandchildren, David Alexander Lemar, Jr, Austin Vance Lemar, Steven Dewayne Seay, II, Brittany Danielle Lemar and Prisyla Nancy Richardson; great-grandchildren, Audrey Ashe Lemar, Hayden Jasper Lemar, Kaide Allen Garner and Claire Grace Lemar; sister, Lynda Templeton; and a host of other relatives and many friends. The family will host a memorial service on Saturday, January 26 at 2:00 PM at the Riverview Baptist Church in Calvin with Rev. Joe Beason officiating.
