Dudd Douglas" Farmer

Dudd 'Douglas, Doug' Grant Farmer, 78, of Dorton Branch, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at his home. He was born June 9, 1935 in Pineville, a son of the late James 'Jim' and Annie Higden Farmer. He was of the Baptist Faith and had worked for the City of Pineville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by great-granddaughters, Alyissa and Melissa Farmer; brothers and sisters, James 'Judge' Farmer, Clorah Vancleave, Elizabeth Frazee and Betty Bryant. Survivors include his sons and their wives, Eddie and Ann Farmer, Everett and Rhonda Farmer, Douglas and Brenda Farmer, Edward Farmer and David Farmer, grandchildren, Alicia and James Minor, Eddie Jr. and Sarah Farmer, Ericka Farmer and fiance, Darrell Carnahan; Mercedes Farmer and fiance, Jason Vaught, Adam Falconer and Heather Bixman; great-grandchildren, Jasamine Farmer, Keisha Hawk, Katlyn Farmer, Robert Cox, Jr. Angelina Cox, Eddie Lee Farmer, III and Jacob Minor, sister, Mary Calloway and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
