Douglas Warren Gilbert

Douglas Warren Gilbert, 46, of Jenson, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2019 at his home. He was born in Middlesboro on December 15, 1972 a son of Warren and Sylvella Gambrel Gilbert. He was a believer in the Holiness Faith and had been a coal miner. He was Preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Wilma Kelton and maternal grandparents, Boyd and Lucy Gambrel. Survivors include his wife, Roberta Brown Gilbert, children, Sarah Nicole Gilbert and Aaron Douglas Gilbert and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. Services will be on Tuesday, December 17, at 2:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Chapel with Rev. A.B. Smallwood and Rev. James Roark. Burial will be in Pinelawn Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Monday from6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Gilbert Family.
