Dorothy Partin

Dorothy Tolliver Partin, 93 of Pineville, passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at the Pineville Community Health Center in Pineville. She was born in Davidsburg, Kentucky on May 24, 1927, a daughter of the late Foster and Nannie Jones Tolliver. Dorothy had been a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Toy Partin; and her siblings, Lewis Tolliver, Pauline Greer, Authur Tolliver, John Matt Tolliver, Renfro Tolliver, Sylvia Witt, Martha Fletcher, Rosie Wheeler, and Charlotte Mills. Dorothy is survived by her son, Fred Partin Jr and his wife, Linda; her daughter, Debbie Partin; special friends, Wilma Miracle, Rita Lambdin, and Marlene Maiden; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Kelly Partin, Jr. presiding. Music will be provided by Kay Robbins Gibson. Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Gardens in Middlesboro. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Partin family.
