Dorothy "Missy" Davis Jessie, 49, wife of Jerry T. Jessie, of Winchester, KY

passed away on Monday, October 12, 2009 at her home. She was born in Clay County on May 18, 1960 to the late Henry and Stella Vaughn Davis. She was a merchandiser at Sam's Wholesale and a member of the New Life Assembly of God. In addition to her husband, survivors include three daughters, Melanie Sutcliffe, Michelle Thurman, and Melinda Brewer, all of Frankfort; six grandchildren; five brothers, James Robert Davis, Melvin Davis, Johnny "Hoss" Davis, Jr., Arthur Davis, and Vernon Davis; six sisters, Nannie Moore, Amanda Davis, Ethel Endsley, Jean Hubbard, Cleo Andres, and Illie Herron; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2009 at Scobee Funeral Home by Rev. Richard VanHuss. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until service time.A visitation will also be held Thursday, October 15, 2009 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., at Reece Funeral Home in Harrogate, TN.
