Dorothy Gibbons

Dorothy Jackson Gibbons, 58, of Arjay, passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at the Pineville Community Hospital. She was born in Red Bird on May 28, 1949 the daughter of Bessie Lawson Jackson and the late Charlie Jackson. She believed in the Holiness Pentecostal Faith and had been a substance abuse counselor for many years. Survivors include her husband of 20 years, Ralph Hamilton Gibbons; mother, Bessie Lawson Jackson, sister, Wanda Deaton and brothers, Lewis Jackson of Tazewell and Donald Jackson of Middlesboro, parents-in-law, Arlis and Jennie Gibbons of Ewing, VA and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
