Dorothy Jeanette Ditty

Dorothy Jeanette Schill Ditty, 84, of Pineville, went home to the Lord on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at her home surrounded by family. She was born in Louisville, Ohio on July 5,1935 a daughter of the late John Herman and Ethel Mae Craig Schill. She was a member of Wasioto Baptist Church and had been a Missionary and a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Ditty Sr.; daughter, Patricia Dearing; grandson, Stephen Dearing; brothers, John Schill and Ray Schill and sister, Alice Richardson. Survivors include her children, James Edward Ditty, Jr. and wife, Jenny of Logan, OH, John Glenn Ditty and wife, Charlene of Pineville, KY, Tanya Jean Ditty of Alexandria, VA, Mary Brown Frasier and husband, Kerry of Fort Worth, TX and Tina Upchurch of Grand Prairie, TX; son-in-law, Merle Dearing, Logan, OH; grandchildren, James Ditty, III and wife, Sarah, Paul Joseph Ditty and wife, Whitney, Peter Ditty and wife, Julianna, Casey Anne Williams and husband, Heath, Andrew James Ditty, Eric Frasier and wife, Emily, Rebecca Schoonover and husband, Jeremy, Tracie Dearing, James Upchurch and Ashlynn Cluck; great-grandchildren, Bradley Ditty, Sydney Ditty, Ethan Ditty, Noah Ditty, Delaney Ditty, Ella Ditty, Joe Ditty, Liam Ditty, Rhylan Hart Williams, Raylan Schoonover, Skyler Cardona, Eleanor Frasier, Charlotte Frasier, Joshua Frasier and Norah Frasier; sister, Jan Decker, Massillon, OH, brother, Dean Schill, Flag Staff, AZ, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Memorial Services will be at 7:00 PM Thursday, July 18 at Wasioto Baptist Church with Dr. John Ditty, Rev. James Ditty and Mr. Andrew Ditty. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Wasioto Baptist Church, Highway 119, East Pineville beside Save-a-lot. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made in memory of Dorothy Ditty to Gideon's International.
