Dorisal Lee Saylor

Dorisal Lee Brock Saylor, 66 of Arjay, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. She was born in Red Bird on March 16, 1955, a daughter of the late Carter and Ludinia Saylor Brock. Dorisal was a believer in the Pentecostal Faith. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother. Dorisal had been a librarian at the Pineville Public Library. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Vickie Caldwell. Dorisal is survived by her soulmate, Adam McCreary; children, Rodney Scott Saylor, Micky Harold Saylor, and Kayla Deshay Saylor and her husband, Ryan Kells; grandchildren, Madison Gipson, Rylee Saylor, Dustin Saylor, Charlee Leshay Saylor, Gabriel Lee Kells, Savannah Rose Kells, and Kinslee Emery Kells; brothers and sister, Larry Brock and wife, Vonda, Trina Saylor and husband, Anthony, and Cody Caldwell and wife, Brook; nieces and nephews, Stephen Brock, Felicia Grubbs and her husband, Gary, Rocky Caldwell, Angie Caldwell, and Alexis Saylor; great nephews and niece; special friends, Brenda Swain, Kay Baker, Steve Compton, Harold Saylor, Methodist Store Employees, Ladies at the Pineville Public Library, and a host of other relatives and friends. The family would like to express their thanks for the care, love and support of Dr. Chinscha in Middlesboro. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at the Crockett Saylor Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Ronnie Hoskins, Mr. Tony Caldwell, and Rev. Gary Grubbs presiding. Burial will follow at the Saylor Cemetery in Crockett. Pallbearers will be Cody Caldwell, Jacob Osban, Dustin Saylor, Ryan Kells, Micky Saylor, and Gary Grubbs. Honorary pallbearers will be her friends from the Pineville-Bell County Public Library. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and on Friday after 3:00 PM at the Crockett Saylor Pentecostal Holiness Church.
