Doris Jones Wight

Doris Jones Wight, 75, of Speedwell, TN passed away on December 10, 2021, at her home surrounded by family. She was born in Fields, KY on August 26, 1946, a daughter of the late Silas B. and Elsie Baker Jones. She had been a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Jones and brothers, Jay Jones and Leonard Jones. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Ronald Wight; children, Sherman Wight and Tammy, William Wight and Lora Kay and Heather Wight and fiance’, Adam Sloan; grandchildren, Harvey Wight and Laura, Matthew Wight and Makayla Wight; great granddaughter Layla Dutcher brothers and sisters, Fronda Smith, Edna Warren, Raymond Jones, Lowell Jones and Reed Jones and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be on Sunday, December 12, 2021, at 2:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carl Jones and Joe Jones. Music will be by Rosemary Jones and Nate Taylor. Burial will be in the Pinelawn Memorial Gardens, Pineville. Pallbearers will be Harvey Wight, Matthew Wight, Adam Sloan, Damon Baird, Isaac Jones and Jordan Jones.
