Doris Irene Hale Spurlock

Doris Irene Hale Spurlock, 85, of Corbin, formerly of Pineville, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2020 at Baptist Health Richmond. She was born in Pineville on May 20, 1934 a daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Daphne Archer Slusher Hale. She had been a homemaker and had worked at Mary's Dress Shop. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Lowell Spurlock and son-in-law, Glennis Warren. Survivors include her children, Dottie Spurlock, Tom Spurlock, Arthur and Marilyn Spurlock, John and Ginny Spurlock and Mary Lynn and Terry Hornsby; grandchildren, Mitchell and Belle Spurlock, Megan Spurlock, Josh Spurlock and Sydney Gean Spurlock, Lori Lynn and Keith; great-grandchildren, Mylah, Zola, Weston and Harleigh; sister, Dottie Jon Henderson; nieces and nephews, Tony Drew Henderson, Amy M. Henderson and Kimberly D. Henderson and a host of other relatives and friends. Private Cremation Services were held at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville.
